James Patterson's Read Kiddo ReadThis is a site that allows you to locate great books for all different age/ability levels. Perspective - Scoring SOL PromptsThis site provides SOL rubrics for the three categories of scoring (composing, written expression, usage & mechanics). It then allows your child to view actual responses, their scores, and why they earned those scores. Finally, the student can practice scoring an actual response and compare their score with the given score. This is a FANTASTIC practice site, but does not work on occasion. Pete's PowerPoint StationCheck out this site for MANY practice and review powerpoint presentations and activities for ALL topics. Released SOL Test ItemsPlease use these as practice for the SOL tests - all grade and subject levels are included.
